February 2nd Update

Happy February!

We hope the Spring semester has been off to a great start.  We are pleased to announce that we have hit a major milestone in our Degree Planning Modernization Project!

Stellic: Live for Law and Dentistry Programs

Our new degree progress platform is now officially live for all College of Law and School of Dentistry students, advisors, and administrators.

What’s New? Who Has Access?

  • Law and Dentistry students can access Stellic via a new tile on the CIS Student Homepage called “Law & Dental Degree Progress”
  • Law and Dentistry advisors and administrators can access Stellic via a new tile on the CIS Advisor Homepage

College of Law and School of Dentistry will communicate with and work to onboard their students in Stellic in conjunction with their advising processes and schedules.

*Undergraduate students, advisors, and administrators should continue to access degree audits through the existing Degree Audit tile via CIS.

Why This Matters?

Stellic will help streamline academic planning, improve transparency around degree requirements, and support students and advisors with a clearer, more intuitive tool.  It will also provide on-demand access to more information, including ability to pull reports, and search for/filter specific data elements.

Next Up: Undergraduate Programs

We are excited to gather feedback and learn from the experiences of our College of Law and School of Dentistry students, advisors, and administrators in Stellic as we build undergraduate programs.

We are taking a phased approach to allow us to collaborate with key stakeholders, ensuring accuracy for audits and a smooth transition for each undergraduate School/College.  We will be contacting individual Colleges and departments directly as they enter the build queue.  This helps to ensure that every program receives dedicated support as we work toward the planned launch for all undergraduate students and programs in 2027.

We cannot express enough our heartfelt appreciation for the time, effort, and work going into understanding undergraduate degree audit exceptions and analyzing curricular design and delivery.  We would love to collaborate with you in those endeavors, so please do not hesitate to reach out directly to our Office of the Registrar teams:
